Even though a high school diploma is generally the minimum requirement for a job in the tourism, travel, and hospitality industry, you will find yourself in direct competition with other candidates who have more education, customer service experience, prior training, and inside expert data to answer interview questions.

At Eton College, we provide our students with the most up-to-date information on the industry, and the opportunity to network with the employers of their choice prior to completion of the program.

Eton College graduates have the competitive edge, because they are better prepared for this selection process and for the demands of the job. Their industry knowledge is guaranteed to rank higher than candidates with no formal education in the field.

In North America and Canada, there is no age discrimination, so as long as you are physically and mentally able to perform the duties of the job, you have the job.

Having a second language can be helpful, especially when trying to communicate with international travelers. Although having a second language is an asset, it is not a requirement for most industry employers. We have many students who only speak English, and they are still able to successfully secure employment with major airlines.
