Eton College is accredited with The Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of British Columbia. PCTIA is responsible for providing consumer protection to the students of registered institutions and establish standards of quality that must be met by accredited institutions.
Eton College is a recipient of the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) seal. The EQA seal is the provincial trademark for educational quality assurance recognized worldwide.
Eton College programs are eligible for transfer to two of British Columbia’s distinguished public universities, Royal Roads University in Victoria and Capilano University in North Vancouver.
Students have a choice of 1) career programs that give them skills to find work after school or 2) continue on to higher education via academic programs that are transferable to universities for a Bachelor’s degree.
Eton has gained a reputation for being one of the best private tourism and hospitality colleges in the world. Many of our graduates have been successfully employed by prestigious companies locally and internationally.
Designed specifically for the non-English speaker, Eton’s Business Environment Communication (BEC) and Advanced Business Communications (ABC) programs provide a smoother and easier transition to career and academic programs.
Eton College has been selected to participate in the B.C. provincial government’s Post Graduation Work Permit Pilot project. This allows Eton’s international students (registered in programs of 8 months or over) to apply for a work permit after they graduate.
Excellence in Skills Development
English proficiency assessments are conducted in house at the College to provide the necessary assistance to ensure student success.
Students who need extra tutorials on courses and assignments benefit from a support staff in the campus.
All programs include practical hands-on training such as hotel property management system, global distribution system, use of emergency equipment, performing first aid, executing evacuation procedures, etc.
Seminars and workshops by industry experts enhance learning, develop skills and make students job ready. Some of the seminars offered include Presentation and Public Speaking, Computer Applications, etc.
Out of campus trips enrich learning and allow students to visit and connect with relevant industry professionals and businesses.
Excellence in Student Wellness and Care
Eton prides itself as being one of the first private colleges with an in-house full time Certified Counsellor to coach and care for students throughout their educational journey at Eton.
Each student is treated as an individual with specific needs. Eton offers one-on-one individualized wellness counseling and coaching in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
The Student Services Coordinator, Instructors and Staff keep a close eye on all students to ensure that they receive timely attention and assistance where necessary.
Students who require extra help are partnered with others who are able to offer additional academic, social or emotional support.

A separate course that prepares students for future employment is offered as part of all programs. Goal setting, job search techniques, resume and cover letter writing, mock job interviews, verbal and non-verbal communications are among the critical areas that students master.
Practicum for qualified students provides the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
Once an Etonian, always an Etonian. All graduates of Eton College receive lifetime support with job search, resume and interview preparation, job leads and help of Instructors with information updates.
Excellence in Instructors and Staff
All Instructors at Eton College have a minimum of 10 years industry experience and most hold a minimum Master’s Degree in their field of expertise.
Eton College Instructors and staff are members of one or more professional organizations in their fields of expertise. Instructors also attend professional development activities every year to keep up-to-date their knowledge and skills.
Eton values students’ input and feedback. Instructors are not only observed and assessed by Management annually but also evaluated and critiqued by their students at the end of each course. This ensures that our students’ needs are given priority.

Excellence in Campus Facilities
Eton College prides itself in its one-of-a-kind mock Hotel Room and Aircraft Cabin where students acquire hands-on training without having to leave the campus.
Each classroom is equipped with DVD player, television, computer, and overhead projector to enrich classroom experience for students.
All classrooms are roomy, bright and conducive to learning. The Computer Lab is outfitted with brand new computers, LCD monitors, high-speed Internet access, and current software. The school library is well stocked and has computer terminals that are wired with EBSCO, an extensive on-line library for research. Students also enjoy the use of a spacious kitchen and dining area where they can relax and unwind.
