Kalai Ponniah
Kalai PonniahView President for Education Services
Kalai is a senior education management executive who has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of international education and cultural exchange. Throughout his career in higher education, he has taken on various important roles, including being an AVP of international education, director of international education, dean of law school, academic chair, and learning and education manager at a leading global audit firm. Prior to joining MSM and Eton College, Kalai was the AVP for International Education for Upper Iowa University for almost 10 years. One of the significant milestones in his career at Upper Iowa University was the launch of the Asia operations of Upper Iowa University, where he played a pivotal role in establishing new strategic directions to increase its international student base.

    Born and raised in Indonesia, Jetty completed her education in the United States as an international student and then moved to Canada. She is a warm and friendly Financial Aid Officer who is happy to assist students with applications for student loans and tuition payment arrangements. Jetty is passionate about helping students succeed in their education goals without feeling the burden of financial obligations as they complete their studies.     Pia BaltazarEnrollment Management / Student Services Assistant

    Pia has previously worked as a Student Services Coordinator and Financial Coordinator from different educational institutions and she has an extensive experience in student enrollment and providing various support services to students to ensure that students has an enriching college experience. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree majoring in Marketing and Management.

    In her role as the Enrolment Management & Student Services Assistant at Eton College, Pia will be responsible for providing full time front counter services, handling inquiries from prospective and current students regarding admission, registration, course enrolment, graduation, coordinate a range of student service activities and provide guidance to students over a range of areas including information on social, academic and personal with the view of assisting students to acclimatize in a new environment.

    Xintong Wu (Wennie)
    Xintong Wu (Wennie)Marketing and Communication Specialist (Asian)

    Wennie is the Marketing and Communication Specialist targeting the Asian Community in Canada and will be recruiting students from this community to Eton College.

    Wennie grew up in China before she came to Canada to pursue her bachelor degree in psychology. While Wennie enjoyed her splendid college life as an international student, she also understood the unique needs and difficulties of students who left their homes to start a new life in a foreign country. Fueled by her own experience, Wennie becomes committed in the field of international education. She is always caring and sociable, and likes to share ideas and techniques from her personal experience with students. She is passionate about inspiring students to find their genuine interests and making future choices. Her experiences include offering personalized study consultations, student recruitment, and academic coaching. She is adept at using her professional experience and expertise to walk students through the different steps and finding their educational pathways. Wennie strives to help students chasing their dreams and having a memorable experience in Canada. Her determination is to help each student reach his or her fullest potential.

    Rizalyn Borja (Riz)

    Riz is the Marketing and Communication Specialist for Canada.
    Riz has a successful career in Sales and Marketing with 15 years of experience in this field. She brings a wealth of experience and she has demonstrated her ability to communicate effectively with different nationalities with fluency in English. Being in the Sales and Marketing force, it permits her to execute what she loves doing most, dealing with people and in this case at Eton College, the students.

    YOLANDA DELAFRANIER
    YOLANDA DELAFRANIER

    Yolanda has a twenty-year career in Human Services/Psychology working with individuals with mental health by facilitating life skills, employment opportunities and liaising with communities to create awareness to better assist her client’s success in the community. This led her to becoming a community driver in all faucets of her career as a Student Recruiter; Employment Specialist in Vocational Rehabilitation; Community Relations; Promotions and Marketing by implementing outreach programs for student participation. She has also established external marketing strategies, channeling high school liaison opportunities, brought value to schools that she promoted by assisting with placements, guest speakers, in house career fairs, fundraising, admissions and special events.

    Yolanda is a results driven, self-motivated and resourceful with a proven ability to develop and strengthen teams in order to maximize company efficiency and profitability. She has vast and extensive experience in leading and growing businesses and relationships in a progressively satisfying business approach and the first-person contact. She is a strong believer in TEAM contributors for growing successes and relationships in a progressively satisfying approach. Her years of experience in listening, guiding, willing to learn to be industry knowledgeable has radiated in student retention and success.
